Just put a deposit on a 2008 CLC 180 K Sport and can wait to pick her up in a few days. She has a Auto box (with paddle shift) bluetooth, parking aid, leather seats, cruise control, 18inch alloys.. :)

should make a comfy change compared to my other cars i have had lol (golf mk2 1.6 ... civic coupe SRi 1.6 160 bhp and my JDM MR2 Turbo 280 bhp)

ill get pics up soon as i pick up the car

I hope you've researched the price of tyres for those 18 inch wheels?

Hello and welcome I hope you enjoy the car, but I think I would change those wheel's!

There is a big difference between 17 and 18 inch rims! price just about doubles!

check it out on Black circles, or any internet tyre provider. Unless the rubber is being asked to put down 300 BHP upwards, not really necessary, apart from the extortionate capital cost.

Bigger wheels reduce torque anyway, and with it being a 180 i wouldn't worry about burning any rubber.

Isn't the rolling diameter the same, the bigger wheel using thinner tyres?

I dont find the price too bad tbh, just had two fronts 225/40/18 Falken 452 replaced and it was £200 for supply and fit. my rears 255/35/18 were around 125 each fitted.

Tyre pricing seems to fluctuate quite a bit, with no real pattern to it. I think supply/demand forces drive the price differentials rather than straight size differences
