Afternoon all.

The foot pedal for the handbrake on my CLK 240 W209
doesnt hold.
You can hear it clicking when you press it but when you take your foot off the pedal it just returns to the off position and the parking brake isnt engaged.

Any top tips on what if anything is common or it it a case of replacing the full set up down there?

cheers

The click is artificial just for the sound, you have a problem on the pedal assembly

Will the problem be with the pedal set up itself or
would there be a chance theres an issue with where the two rear cables meet under the rear seat?
