Panoramic roof

I was wondering as the front part doesn't actually do anything apart from deflect wind, can it be replaced with plexie glass, and then bonded into place. As mine is smashed and the cheapest is £150 from a breaker, and it's nearly that C word time I really can't afford to spend out loads.

Don't know - have you checked your insurance policy? Many cover vehicle glass these days with an excess of around £75, which isn't always payable if the glass isn't a windscreen.

I can only claim as an accident as sunroofs are not covered in the glass policy.

i would try some merc breakers, you will find a 2nd hand one somewhere.

I've emailed loads but no one has one. I'll just tape it up in the mean time can't really afford it this side of the C time of the year.

I would. As long as it isnt shaped.
A good bit of acrylic is unlikely to be shattered easily.

ahh, ok missed that totally! sorry, no it wont fit a C Class, i was assuming you had a w211!

That's a shame as the other one on there is £150. Big difference.
