Have you checked if there's any grit stuck between the pad and the disc?
That would not cause a squeal , it would make a grinding sound
I disagree, that's if there were lots of grit spread around, if it is concentrated on one spot it would squeal as the pressure would be concentrated on a single spot.....
It is the surface of the disc on the pad that makes the pad resonate to produce the squeal. Pads are far to hard to get any grit in the surface.
But that is fine by me if you wish to disagree
But it is possible. The pad is a softer compound than the disc after all.
Probably just a lack of grease on the rear pads, is it important
