Gents,

My W123 saloon is fitted with a factory fitted manually operated sliding sunroof.

The sunroof panel has dropped slightly on one side, by approx 2-3mm. When shut, the rear left edge of the sunroof panel is lower than the roof panel, which allows excess water to collect and drain down the nearside of the car.

I tried pushing on the underside of the panel whilst operating the closing / locking mechanism but that doesn't seem to help.

Any ideas how I can adjust the height of the sunroof panel in closed position?

Regards,

Peter C

Have a look at the W210 DIY thread regarding sunroofs in case that gives you any pointers.

are not the side rails adjustable

These are photos of the sunroof rails:

Do the rails look adjustable? I think that the screw fixings are just there to secure the rails to the roof and they don't feature any adjustment options.

Any ideas?
