R129 top shock mount

has anyone changed the front top shock absorber mount on a R129. i need to do mine and just wondering what sort of job it is, it not self levelling just standard.

Just unbolt it,, the spring has nothing to do with it

it pull down from underneath.

so the problem is getting the wishbone low enough for the damper to lower to allow
space to remove mount assembly.

so it does involve the spring and damper.

why do you want to replace it/them ?

Very easy job to do but do both as the result from the failed top mount dents the bonnet!!!

Coil can stay in place just support the car and the lower wishbone.
