one of the brake light bulb blew off yesterday, showing faulty light on the dashboard.

decided to change the brake light bulb today. can untwist the faulty bulb but cant twist back the new bulb. that lasted for one hour decided to go to buy two bulbs from the dealer. again the same problem but can twist back the faulty bulb. Tried nearly half an hour before the parts called a technician, a white hair guy, he used a hook to prise out the copper spring.

presto problem fixed. to reward them I decided to buy the two bulbs for £3.50 for their effort even though I got spares

anyone encountered this problem?

I have had the riveted bulb holder turn on the reflector,,, what a pain,,, then you have to find the true focal point by slowly turning the thing round, a 5 minute job taking an hour

But you had better be sure to get it fixed the next day 'cos they will have marked your card! Get stopped again after a warning and you're toast..

Only if you get it fixed pronto. As said Police will have you listed and if stopped again for the same, they'll throw the book at you and go over the car with a fine toothed comb..
