Alarm keeps going off

My alarm has gone off twice tonight!!!.... it never goes off...never has since I bought it!!......It's really frosty ...can frost do that??

On my (much older) SL the frost can lower the main battery voltage and fool the alarm into going off. I keep a battery conditioner in the boot and connect it when the weather turns cold, like now.

Went off 3 times then has been fine... cold again tonight so will see how it goes!!..... I'm wondering it was next doors cat and not some of local yoofs trying to keep warm on the bonnet which set it off!!

Although not a Merc my son has a Z3 and the alarm always goes off if its near freezing. I've tried all sorts to stop it but no luck. He now locks it with the key and leaves the alarm off if frost is predicted!
