sl 350 heater

when i turn on the heater switch on this sl full the bars only light up half way then around 2 to 3 minutes it will come on full also the air con when switched on flashes a couple of times then goes off any suggestions please

Could possibly be water under the passenger carpet

Open the bonnet and under the passenger bonnet grill is the heater box check to make sure there is no water sitting in there

I may be wrong but I think it does this by design to allow the engine time to begin to warm.

IIRC there was thread on this very subject recently. Others will advise or you can search the forum yourself. Or the info may even be in your owner's manual.

are you getting "consumer electrics offline" when you start? If so, it will prevent full power on several things including the fan & rear screen heater until the battery in the boot gets up to charge.

I would imagine the fault to be caused by the heater circulation pump. This fault shows on star
