Has anybody bought a workshop manual from these people

I am thinking of investing in one of these:

Does anybody own either of these or another model workshop manual from these people?

Are they any good?

I am not planning to do any major servicing myself but I am an engineer and I like to know how things work and carry out simple minor replacements myself.

Hi,
I have got one of these manuals (not had the EPC as I find the Russian site more than adequate) and it is WIS, it gives you access to online WIS for your specific model, it is official as it is through MB web portal.
Installation can be a bit protracted and drawn out, especially if you have a low connection speed (only because of the size of the file you download), you will have to set-up a virtual XP machine, to use it.
Good thing is the installation guide is very good and takes you through every stage step-by-step, including setting-up the Virtual Machine.
I would and have recommended them.

Interesting, the example images they give certainly don't look like WIS..

Accessing WIS doesn't require any installation of software. Certainly not via the online portal

You have to run a virtual machine as i don,t believe WIS can run without a specific .exe file which helps it make sense of the data base. As you have to download such a large file logging into the website is just a gateway key to access what you have downloaded.
The screens you fill in are the same, the lists of sections are the same, the documents are all the same as WIS, I even found the exact same document that you mailled me with regarding the boot badge positions.

They say they do not support 64bit installations but will give as much help as they can. Woould I be asking for trouble then as I am running 64bit Windows7?

The DVD images are the stand alone installers for EPC/WIS meant for official subscribers.

Yes, updates must be applied by purchasing the DVD set via your MB Subscription.

Don't use them they are scammers. I am fighting to get my money back. They try to convince you to let them remotely into your computer after sending you the wrong manual. A manual may I add that does not work. steer well clear and buy Haynes instead

There are not all the models, but in Crazy About Mercedes they have many Mercedes Benz workshop manuals and user manuals.
