Burning plastic type of smell.........

Coming from the rear of the car, more so on the passenger side rear door on my C32 AMG!

Nothing showing as a malfunction, car running fine and no loss of performance or anything else of note!!

Anyone have an inkling of what it may be?

Smell is apparent on both sides though, and also when driving and idling.

I've looked, can't see anything caught or trapped in or around exhaust, brakes etc,etc!

Really stumped with it

I had this on a previous car. Nothing visible as the plastic had melted around the exhaust pipe. Took ages to burn it all off!

Is it the same with the fan on the heating turned off, try it,,,is not the battery and PSE pump under the rear seat, it could be worth lifting the squab to check that all is good there
