W204 Xenon bulb?

Hi All,

The wife has called me and told me she has a malfunction on her car.

I'm pretty sure the car in question has Xenons, they are super white and provide excellent visability.

Is the main head-light buld (dipped beam) easy enough to change and I just order them online on ebay or similar?

What is the bulb called? H7 ?

Your manual will have the information. H7 is halogen not xenon

Hi,
As its a 204 the Xenon lamp required I believe is D1S, heres a link to a pair of new lamps.
It is normally reccommended to replace as a pair as the bulbs age they can change colour slightly, OEM colour temp. is considered to be 4300k.

Looking at that on ebay for the 204,it seems a good price.Will this be a proper replacement and as near to what the op has already ?

From the dealer £90 is probably correct for each lamp, they will most likely be Osram's, possibly Phillips.
I have E-bay ones in my car no problems at all.

Hi guys, I've got a c240 w202 with xenons, any idea on how to change these bulbs and what type of bulb are they? Thanks for any help, appreciated!
