drooning noise

there is a drooning noise inside car worse when slowing down or labouring had car on ramp checked propshaft bearing donuts gearbox rear mount all perfect read a old thread that fanblades should be in center of cowling i can get 1 finger in bottom and 2 easily at top does this mean my engine mounts are gone tried shaking engine but does not move much would this be my trouble is there any way to measure mounts on car is c250 td auto 1999

Basically the fan should have the same size gap all round in the fan shroud, that is one way to give an idea, :Oops: I see you said that so yes the mounts have gone

It will make it into a new car when they are changed

Normally yes but I have an empty computer for a few days, if no else can help please ask in a few days

There are some firms online that offer good german makes, I bought mine for the CL420 from the USDA for a silly cheap price
