c220 starting fault

THANKS FOR YOUR FEED BACK,I TOOK THE TOP COVER OFF ENGINE TO HAVE A LOOK AROUND EVERY THING IS DRY,FROM THE FUEL FILTER THERE IS A FEED GOING TO THE PRE-DELIVERY PUMP ALL DRY,UNDER THAT FEED PIPE THERE IS ANOTHER FEED WITH CLEAR PLASTIC PIPE THAT IS HALF FULL OF DIESEL?ON MY FATHERS CLK270 THAT PIPE IS FULL OF DIESEL.IS THIS MY COLD STARTING FAULT,IS IT THE RETURN PIPE? I HAVE BEEN QUOTED FOR ALL THE PIPES FROM MB £80+VAT CAN I BUY THEM ANYCHEAPER FROM A OTHER FIRM.

if this is a cdi engine, then all pipes should be full. as far as im aware the pipes are only available from MB (ive never tried anywhere else) and theres a seal kit that may be available rather than replacing the pipes.

Hi have replaced all the fuel pipes on two 210 eclass for same fault, as fixed both cars dont forget to order the clips which hold pipes to water pump,

hi mate. perhaps your pipes are all full. i guess, you replace your fuel pipes. just a suggestion, though.
