Due to collect my new C63 AMG Performance Packed early xmas gift on Thursday really excited. Used to have a E350 and it was fantastic to looking forward to getting back to Mercedes (having drifted to Audi......) just love the look of them.

Just hope we don't get too much snow as my E350 was not the best!!!

.. and I'm with you re the Audi thing too - had Merc before (99 E55) and it was pants. Also family members had similar experiences. Wife had an S4 and loved it (and the Q7 is great), but .... but ...... Personally I think Mercedes have their mojo back .. design, (apparent) build quality, dealer attitude (just booked the Q7 in as it happens and had a bit of a 'mare - Lookers in Tonbridge are brilliant in comparison)

Carbon fibre
Reversing camera
heated seats

(can you tell I don't know much about cars!!!)

Media Interface

Morning all,

Picked up the car yesterday and it is really well worth the wait.

In the centre arm rest area is the media interface port which when I connect the supplied cable (which has a USB port on the other end) and plug in the iPhone cable and phone I get a "device not compatible" message on the comand screen.

Any of you lovely people have any ideas as to what I should do next.

Pleased for you......should you not be getting the dealer to set the car up, or at least advise?

Took your advice

Mic, quite right, I called the dealer and it turns out that the iPhone cable which should have been included was missing so need to pop back for it!

On a separate note took the Mercedes 7 day insurance out yesterday morning and they quoted me £544 for the year with a discount (promotion running) of £100 to £444 for the year, happy days indeed!
