Hello everyone, I have a 2004 S600 5.6 and i have a problem with my cock and Navigation system, The clock does not hold the correct time and every time I can set it then when ignition is stitched of the country reverts back to Germany along with the German Time. The navigation system does not hold any memory if I store a position then turn off the car there are no positions stored when it is turned back on. But the destination memory is not affected and all saved destinations are OK, Help with any ideas welcome.

It may be possible to re set it on STAR,,, but what I would do to try is to disconnect the battery and leave it off for 20 mins then join up and try again just in case the memory is locked up.

You will have to re set the windows and the ESP lamp will go out as you drive

M6 Cab - prior to that, SL63 AMG, A-M V8 Vantage, SL55, SL500 and many more
I had a similar problem with a BMW many years ago when it reverted back to German for all error messages.

The root cause was an on-board battery on a circuit board which obviously kept the basic settings when the ignition was off - it had reached the end of it's useful life.

I managed to remove the board & replace the battery, after which everything was back to normal.

I don't know if Mercedes have a similar set-up, but worth drilling down to try to find out

Nothing that I have aver seen or heard of David in the comands, anything digital can lock up and a power down is the only hope

If the clock is one hour wrong, it's probably because it's defaulting to the German time-zone.
