Transfer number plate

Hi,
I want to transfer the number plate on my S class to my Land Rover.

I then will be selling my s class.

I have the form "Application to transfer or retain a vehicle registration number V317" which looks straight forward, so when my Land rover has the new plate from my s class what plate does the s class get ? Is a reg. provided by the dept. at HMGov Swansea ?

IIRC it would get the plate it was originally registered with, DVLA will advise

I am giving it to my nephew who will give her a good home, nicely stored in his double garage and taken out in fair weather at weekends All good things must come to an end :sad:

Yes the DVLA will let you know the new number which will actually be the original number the car was given when new.

I bet you will be sorry to see it go after all the updates you did on it over the years, still if it is staying in the family !
