It was possible; I was so astonished I had to photograph it!

Very much missed; 150k miles, it was time to say goodbye....

Very possible! This was mine after an early run from Horsham to Milbrook proving ground via m25.

Try doing that in a c63.

All very well on a "run" but what would it be showing if it was urban driving with an average speed of 20 mph? My 200 kompressor is usually around 26/27.

Well, another reason for our sad parting was one winter's morning, following a defrost and my 7 mile / 40 minute start-stop city commute, I only acheived 11 mpg.

If I had my time again (and I am very tempted by an SLK32 AMG at some point), an LPG conversion would definitely be on the cards!

Interesting, your speed was almost identical to mine at this pinnacle of fuel efficiency!!

Get something else for commuting was my answer. I average just over 50 commuting with the Smart, this means my overall average for just less than 8,000 miles in the 911 is 24.45mpg and I've had 30.52mpg for one 329 mile tankful :)
