I'm sure that the DVLA auctions is your first port of call, failing this there are brokers but they will undoubtedly take a larger percentage (possibly) than selling it via the DVLA.

The warranty had just run out so it was a better option for me. We all know how expensive repairs and servicing are on Mercs :neutral:
Tried DVLA site but no option to sell private reg. in auction.
Im sure 2013 will be my year! It's already looking good

There is an option for dealers, and it says that they will help you shift the plate if you wish. Either this or advertise it on different MB forums and see if anyone takes it off your hands.

What do you think it's worth? Key question. If you look at the DVLA personal plates site it will give you some idea. But remember all the DVLA prices are the total price nothing extera on top.

Just got to take a look round at similar plates to guess a price and try ebay when they have a free listings weekend. Try a buy it now or make an offer sale.

How much did you pay for it? Try that as a price?

Quiet a range of prices there, remember you'd have to sell cheaper as a private seller I would have thought.

As other have suggested, go to regtrtansfers, or one of those to guage a value. dont forget these guys are sales so will have a mark up and commisson included. Make due allowance and stick it on ebay......be prepared for a wait, contrary to what some believe these things can take a while to shift unless either particularly desirable...or cheap.

I have just looked at regtransfers boy oh boy can they charge. A plate similar (Very similar) to mine over £2k. Cost from DVLA £399 all included. That is some margin.
