Yes can you believe it, after all the Mercedes we have had since the early '80's, this is the first electrical issue we have experienced. The SLK has a light on on the dash, but my wife (bless her) got the manual out and read through it and found the Fault/warning messages section and carefully read it.
Then she told me a short while after that a warning light has come on in Sneaky (our name for the SLK) As I have absolutely no idea of electrics (I can set a car on fire changing a fuse ) I just answered OK with a blank look.
As luck would have it while at my Son's for Christmas there was a TV show on about an SLK which we watched out of curiosity and this SLK had the same light on, even after watching the cause and fix I am still non the wiser, so it will be off to the MB service department soon :Oops:
