I'm trying to share with Dropbox, but I cannot find a public address, weird. Looking at other free photo sharing sites.Periodically I get the following in place of pictures posted by various members, does anyone know what the problem is?

We went to our favourite Sunday morning cafe yesterday where a few classic enthusiasts were meeting, never really been a fan of classic cars but seeing these together has changed my mind a bit.
Need to sort out images!!!
My files are around 10m each. Need to reduce sizes of pics. All you need to do is use the "upload a file" option at the bottom of each post

Right Click on the picture (or select a few and then right click) - choose "mail recipient" - choose picture size (medium is good for the forum) - you should then get a window open with the picture attached to an email - save it to a folder on your desktop and then use that folder to attach pictures to the forum. My files are around 10m each. I think driving a classic is enlightening and reminds you how much things have changed (and not always for the better).Nice to look at but they generally they are not nice to drive. A mate of mine bought a 62 Cresta a couple of years ago. I was for a while interested in getting something similar myself until I drove his Cresta, it was 'orrible. Thank goodness they don't make cars like they used too !!
The ones pictured were very small, I've seen a few old cars before and some were a bigger. I think they must be from the 30's. The sound of all these was unique, and during the time they were there people were taking pics, sadly not one of mine though!I think driving a classic is enlightening and reminds you how much things have changed (and not always for the better).
The sheer simplicity of classic cars is quite empowering. Simply knowing that when something goes wrong you don't need an electronic gizmo to fix it and the part won't need coding is really quite refreshing.
When I had the 101s yes they were difficult to drive (no power steering), noisy (no sound proofing), cramped and uncomfortable but there's almost nothing to make me grin ear to ear like it.
Would I want to drive it to the South of France? Probably not (and if I did I'd dread the trip back again) but as an occasional vehicle they're great fun. Just don't expect to go anywhere quickly.
That's better!I'm trying to share with Dropbox, but I cannot find a public address, weird. Looking at other free photo sharing sites.
That's another funny thing about old cars - each had a distinctive sound caused by exhaust design, head design, manifolding, induction, camshaft variation all contributing in some way.The ones pictured were very small, I've seen a few old cars before and some were a bigger. In the end I just used "paint" to reduce the files by 50%.That's better!

Wow, what a nice collection.Got to admit to having a bit of a thing for old bangers - here's a shot of my garage....

Being something of an old banger myself, I enjoy driving and working on a car where I can understand how everything works.
That's not to say that modern cars don't appeal. As has been pointed out, they're a great deal more reliable, handle better and offer much better creature comforts, but in the event of a 'failure to proceed' there's not usually much point raising the bonnet and clouting things with a hammer to bring them back to life.
This is my collection of V8's from 1963 to 2016....

...each with it's own distinctive sound. At full chat the sound of each raises the hair on the back of my neck..
