Dyson rechargeable, wine rack, garden hammock on stand and for me a 210 front bumper with parking sensors and foglights. Met a nice bloke in the process - cheers Rob!

I know how you feel. We also got the beach dropped on us by storm Hannah

I've really got to get to a BTCC race, from what I've heard they are a great day/weekend out.

It was a great day out. Silverstone in a couple of weeks for the blancpain GT £20 to watch some GT’s beat around atrack.

Drove it to the Lake District for a few days (302 miles, 62mph average, 29.1 mpg)
You didn't drive much in the lake district with a 62mph average...

Washed it for the second time in 3 days. Damn seagulls!

Just been out to get something from the car and its been splattered again:mad:
The only negative living close to the coast is when the young seagulls flee the nest. Cr@p everywhere.
I find that the Mercedes Benz "Bird Lime Remover" from the Stargard kit is very handy to keep in the boot for these eventualities while out or away from home.. is it me or does bird 5hite set like concrete lately?

Got any scenic high pass shots of the old girl buddy ? :D
I’ll see what I can do over the next few days

No, that was mostly A34, M40 and M6. The long 50mph roadworks section on the M6 helped the mpg but doesn’t seem to have affected the average speed

Seagulls eat and therefore shite out small rocks which when mixed with their natural lime makes a mortar which would put Blue circle to shame!

As we found on Good Friday at our apartment on wheels in the city waterside in Bristol, where the Cadac was happily cooking our dinner of sausages, burgers, frikadeller, onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes and par boiled slices of potato; seagulls eat anything. 2 of the feckers swooped down and nicked 2 frikadeller. I was annoyed to say the least. Fortunately the bro in law who was to have frikadeller for the first time got one back, cut around where the seagull had bitten into it and managed to enjoy it.

The car did get seagull shite on, but when I finally got to deal with it yesterday, it just washed off with a microfibre wash mitt dipped in the paint sealant wash liquid off the Mrs car.

Dug the pressure washer out, gave the taxi the once over and a going over with the microfibre cloths.

Looked great. 4 hours later only 2 strikes. Reckon on 8 by the morning.

I will overcome. No surrender.

We tried all sorts. Bird scarers, things in the trees, and sweet FA worked. The pigeons just sat there, mocking us with their little evolved dinosaury eyes. Winged rat sods.
