Thanks Craig, really do love it and after 4 years with me it still impresses every time I drive it, I think SWMBO will have it when I decide what to change to

Did you get around to changing the control arms?

They may be wrong from ebay :p (especially if the ebay vehicle finder says they will fit)

There are only 2 type of discs, and they only fit the 65/63 221 and 65/32 216.

I did not want to pay stupid money, so had some 2 piece rotors made up:

Ping me a message and I can source you some. Same price as MB but when they wear, you replace just the friction ring at £300. Plus less unsprung weight = better ride.

Dammit - just too late. Thanks for the offer anyway. Mind you I could probably get my money back in scrap value judging by the weight of the damn things. Could just about lift one- good job the Parts guy at the dealer was a big strong lad. It's amazing what garbage Ebay suppliers will try and flog you - really bad when you consider safety is at risk.

On Sunday we used the car to go to Lunch. On starting the car small cloud of smoke came from the exhaust and wafted by us. I went to the rear of the car and nothing, no smoke. o_O

Since that time it has been perfect, no smoke. It would appear that there is nothing amiss. Could this just have been the Turbo having a hissy fit. The car is just seven years old now but has only just turned 29,000 miles so surely the turbo should be OK ?

Could be anything. Most likely oil from the breather.
I’ve seen it on a few at startup and also full throttle acceleration of they're not used a lot.
