If there's no codes, you need to establish if it really is down on power.

Do 2 or 3 0-60 runs and compare them to the official figures (add a second or so to be realistic).

Use the Torque App on the phone and an ODBII to Bluetooth adapter to automate the process and take out the guesswork...

Er ..... all you'll get with this scant information is a bunch of guesses that'll have you chasing your tail!

Give the guys on here with real knowledge and experience a sporting chance. Provide more detail of all the symptoms, including when the performance changed, what you've done since, mileage, how long you've had the car, last service, etc.

Better still, get it put on Star or go to a good Merc indie, and have it properly assessed.

Otherwise, it's a bit like going to the doctor and telling him 'I've got a pain', and expecting him to come up with an accurate diagnosis!

What's the point of doing a 0-60 when I know my has a low end flat spot and is nowhere near as quick about a month ago

If you had a loss of power, then I would say that there would definitely be fault codes stored? What are you using to scan the car? Are you using STAR? If not I would suggest you take to an Indie who does have it. Generic scanners do not always work on MB's.

Either that or your DPF is in a regeneration cycle

It's in limp home mode , protecting the car by not revving above 3k revs . Have you had the car on Star or icarsoft (an MB specific scanner ) there will be stored fault codes

A generic reader will only read some codes. The only code reader guaranteed to read them all is Star (aka Xentry).
The iCarsoft i980, MB-II and MB v2.0 read a very high proportion too.
Get it read property. Also look at live values such as fuel trims, knock sensor etc.

Don’t be chippy. You’ve had excellent advice on what the professionals here would need in order to take their own time out to help diagnose your problem, for free. Be grateful not narky.
