I just changed the C43 front discs and pads with genuine Mercedes ones, now I'm getting an odd squeaking noise when turning right on say a roundabout. This is NOT when braking, and if I dab the brakes when this happens it makes no difference. But a brake squeal is the best way I can describe the noise.
There is no noise under braking itself

Is the caliper fully retracting, allowing the pads to clear the disc?
Might have been like it for some time, but shows up now due to new materials (discs/pads).

When I changes pads on another car I noticed the offside was worn more than the nearside. I hadn't heard any noises, but it was obvious that the caliper on one side was sticking a bit.

They seem to be. I just had a poke around and the drivers side back plate is quite rusted and could have been touching, it will need replacing at some point, I'll see if that's done the trick next time I drive it.
