After much mucking about, I finally got the blister on the rear arch sorted out today by my genius paint guy.
A couple of pictures to show the job in progress. I will post piccys of the finished job in all it's glory later, after I've washed, polished and ceramic coated it again to get her back up to scratch once more.
My paint guy makes it look so easy, the complete job only took him an hour and forty five minutes from start to finish, oh to have that level of skill and experience, lol.
First class job too!

Yes, after much contemplation I decided that it would be wise to stay with him because he is so good and reasonably priced. Worth the wait though. I really should learn patience, lol.

Luck doesn't come into the equation sir, I am such a freak about my car, OCD is the only way to describe it.
I also have the added advantage of working in the motortrade and soon get to hear who is good, who is reasonable in their charging and who is neither.
The guy I use, is less than a mile away from my work but it wouldn't matter if he was twenty miles away I would still use him. In fact he's actually twenty one miles away from my house :D he does first class work and is very reasonable too.
The only problem I have is trying to get a mutually suitable time for him to work on my car as, he is so busy and I only get every second Saturday off so, it can be a little irritating when I want something done quickly.
However, it is always worth the wait, he has now painted three parts of my car and unless you knew where to look or were a pro, I doubt you could spot where the work has been done, the paint match is so good.
As promised I'll put up the pictures now that the car has been washed, polished and ceramic coated again, after it's little bodyshop experience.

Typically it started raining just as I started taking pictures, lol. Oh well, at least the work has been completed.:D

Nice job done .All these start with a stone chip . And if the top coat gets broken the damp will get in, and then it will start to rust away . And the material or metal is that thin it will go in to a hole before you can say Jack Robinson .Nice car by the way .

Well here's hoping that they do a good job on the car and with the finish and you're happy with the work. ;)

Jimbo i am getting there bit at a time . My rust started with a stone chip , a long time before i had the car in 2014 . Its took me till now to get to having it repaired . I knew it needed a bottom 1/4 of the dog leg .The part sat in my garage for 5 years .My main job was both front wings . I was lucky to find one drivers wing on Ebay that the seller sold to me. This was after he had no one interested on ebay to buy the car in one piece .The wing just needed a clean and to treat the back side with wax before i fitted it .That is the one what you can see in the picture on the left in my profile . And the one in the pictures before i fitted i fitted it .. Like winning the lottery to find a wing the same paint.. .Had 4 more wings passenger wings after this including a brand new one that i think was a clone purchased from a well known mb dealers .And i returned it C9hF6Fd.jpg DSC04336.JPG and had my cash back .Still have one original wing hanging on the wall of the garage .To get an exact paint match from the paint shop is so hard .Good finish but not the same shade .This will be the last car i will have with metal flake paint .This is the rust damage that will be eventually be fixed on the 17th of this month .
