How the hell would you take these off. On the passenger side the chrome is all pealing off and looks crap. So I'm going to take them both off and sort them. Where do you start to take them off?

I think I’d like to keep the Crome effect, as it’s a bit of a feature.
Mine haven’t come off yet but I can get my nail underneath so they are starting to lift.

Will let you know how I get on. Im thinking black for the colour
Yep, think black would look good. IMO satin blacks the way to go, got a nice sheen to it, gloss might look a bit tacky
plus take it from me, satin is a lot easier to spray on than gloss. Got my satin black spray from Halfords it's good stuff, no problems at all, they recommend grey primer, so 2 cans about £16. :)

Great thanks I'll look into it. Was it a difficult job?

No, quite easy, when you get the plastic bits off, give them a quick rub down, try and get all the shiny silver off, then 3 coats of grey primer, then 3 coats of satin black, job done. :)

Oh, forgot to say when you get the grey primer, make sure you get grey plastic primer.
In fact Dean, looking at a close up of your chrome plastics, you could do the plastic surround that they fit into aswell.

Sorry, might have wires crossed, i haven't done the seat plastics. I've done the chrome on the boot, which is plastic, so same principle for the seats.
