My wife & I travel down on Thursday to Moreton Hampstead for 3 rounds of golf. looking forward to the drive and hoping for June to stop impersonating November. Thanks for the tips. I last went there 30 yrs ago and loved it. I gather it's been super-glammed since then and I'm really looking forward to our stay. My wife was heaviliy pregnant back then, but playing the best golf of her life. Part way round she shanked a shot, and hit a nearby tree. The ball came back and hit her in the centre of her forehead, briefly knocking her unconscious. Thankfully, no harm done.

Last week, our son (who's always taken credit for Marie's briefly good golf) announced his engagement. His Fiancee's family live 3 miles from Moretonhampstead. An old friend once said, 'You know you're in the right place when coincidences happen.'

You won't recognise it, the golf course is still the same which is good, they do know how to remove money from your pockets though in large quantities

When the roof leaked into the boot of my R230 in the winter I had the usual issue of the foam around the PSE pump getting wet. I took it out and dried it the put it back in. Yesterday I took it out again an coated the lower foam all over with a thin smear of clear silicone. It looks no different but is now completely water proof foam should it ever get wet again.

230 is in disgrace at the moment. MrsLK used it to go to work this morning and now it won't start. Not getting DAS by the sound of it.
Probably didn't help when she washed the key....
