Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my cls 55 with a sc pulley change, cooling and some other bits. I'm finding it hard to locate a good upgrade company. I'm based in bristol.

I've found a site called cks performace. Has anyone had any experience with this garage or can recommend good tuners.

Thank
Miles

Hi,

Have a look at MSL on the outskirts of Birmingham. Quite happy with the work they did on my E55.
You then get a nice drive home.

I am sure Avantguard Automotive in Clevedon could fit anything

They could, but Steve isn't an agent for Eurocharged.
If the OP gets a smaller SC pulley, he will need a map to feel the benefit.
That is where MSL are the go to company for AMG tuning IMO.

I forgot............avoid CKS like the plague.
They buy in stuff from the US , then charge a huge mark up.
Their level of customer service is not the best, although I have no direct experience of that.

If you want to modify the 55K, go to MSL.

CKS (when googled) don't have a great reputation. Even when I wanted to buy a grill off them, happy to swing by them on my drive up north, they couldn't have made it more difficult..... so I just left it and will buy elsewhere.

Hi,
Thanks for your inputs. I've also read some stories about cks, I'll avoid.

I'm looking to do a pulley upgrade 77 or 70 mm, split cooling, change the aux water pump, intercooler (heatexchanger), rolling road remap and a gearbox map.

Any good suppliers out there?

Thanks :)

Hi,
I mean I'll buy and fit then get the remaps done by a specialist.

All the items you mention can be ordered through MSL who can fit, then live map the car on their rolling road.
They have the advantage of getting some parts from the US and often have already in stock.
Call Acid at MSL (07765 444 447) and tell him what you are hoping to do and he can give his opinion and make suggestions to help you. ( That 70mm pulley is pushing it:D)
At one time, he did own the quickest E55 wagon in the UK. He knows what he's doing.

Ooops, should have read a bit further;)

Bosch 010 intercooler pump.......... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BOSCH-WA...065276&hash=item43f3abf503:g:1LEAAOSwyLlXo1gb

Send a message to member "merc85." He bought and successfully fitted a larger heat exchanger to his E55.

Split cooling, Acid can advise on prefabricating a tank and piping.

Not sure there is a transmission remap for the 722.6 gearbox?
