Resonator delete won’t cause that - when was the transmission fluid last changed ?

Since this thread opened for 722.9 I would like to ask the following.
What are the differences between the first generation of 722.9 that has torque limit 550nm and the second one with limit 630nm?

There are many versions of the 722.9 all with different torque limitations.

There are also different generations of the 722.9 eg 7g, 7g +, 7g amg sperdshift and the MCT version. Many differences between them all!

To the op, how is your box behaving?

Thanks Alexander, I was talking about the 500-550 models, sorry for not narrowing it down. Since these two were produced and built with a few years difference, if not mistaken one in 2003 and the other 2006-7.
The 7g+ and the AMG one are later versions, no? Apologies for asking these but I am new in the Benz world (and a very happy owner of course)

If there in an increase in torque handling it will be through increasing the number of clutch plates in the clutch packs in order to prevent slippage. Sometimes the thickness of each plate also changes in order to get them to fit in the space.
