Diamond cut - Fit for purpose?

I’m actually considering having my diamond cut wheels refurbed “clean” then powder coated in dark silver.

what ! was wrong with the alloy pre diamond cut ? my ML has the white pox starting from centre badges. my clks are grand refurbed once in 2008. 5 spoke amg origional basics i will try to sort them myself and if that fails i will get them powder coated the same as clk. WHAT was whole idea of D.C anyway the cynic says sommat to do with cheaper ?
