They broken off underneath the removable grey manifold?
Yes mate they are sheared off flush with the top of the pump, the broken ends were still in the air line ends.

I'm going to have a wee search tonight and see if I can find one anywhere...but I also have a repair plan forming.

Cheers

Just to update you guys.....couldn't find a pse pump at a reasonable price (well to me anyway) so repair plan formed and executed.

Stripped out the pse pump and removed the outer casing, cleaned up the ragged broken edges and carefully drilled the holes out to 5mm, bought a length of 5mm rigid plastic pipe and cut to lengths required, fitted the pipe lengths into the newly drilled out holes and plastic welded them in using a soldering iron and some plastic strips to melt in and solidify 'the weld' all good and strong and actually quite a neat finish lol....refitted the pse pump to the car and checked, now have everything operational again apart from no sound from the comand unit.
Checked codes and pulled fuse etc cdc not found and telephone not found, but that is for another day...when it's dry again I'll start stripping it back and carry out tests on the fibre optic ring and find where the faults lie in that system.

Thanks for all your replies and I'm almost a happy SL owner/driver again!

I know this is an old thread, but I also have an issue with the auxiliary battery getting hot. I have had it tested and it seems to be functioning fine with no issues. After a long drive it starts to smell and I can see vapour coming from the vent tube under the car, when I touch the battery it is hot !

The terminals look fine and I have checked they are secure.
is it something
The charging also has been checked and is the voltage regulator appears normal?

Should I change the battery, is it on the way out? Is it something else?

Sometimes batteries have the month/year of production stamped on one of the terminal connections , if it's over 10 years old maybe it's time for a new one anyway . Obviously the overheating issue needs checking first , you don't want to ruin a new battery if the fault is elsewhere
