ATF gearbox

Hi Guys
When i gas the car it knocks, i mean if i try to put foot on the accelerator after chaging few gears it knocks
.. but if i do it smoothly, its ok.

Any advice pls?

Engine mounts, drive couplings, diff mounts.
That'll do for starters.

Second the above.......plus Auto or manual? If auto, how many miles since last transmission service?

Its auto s320 2006. Dont know when ATF was changed

I'd put that on the list then. I had what's often referred to here as rumble strip noise on acceleration. Changed trans filter and flushed fluid. It's much better now

Before you start throwing any bits at it, get it booked into a workshop to check it over. Its engine mounts may be ok...?

DIY.... got 20l fluid plus pan gasket, filter and conductor plate bush for £110

From where did you bought?

Hi, Both from Fleabay... the fluid is Smith & Allen - £88 for 20l and the gasket kit from KMSpartsonline. Only niggle was that the kit doesn't include the copper sump plug washer or the tamper seal for the filler tube.
