My Parktronic control unit has failed - I've found a replacement and I understand the unit is located somewhere in the passenger footwell. Can anyone tell me exactly whereabouts and how I get to it?

Hmm, looks like a 209, but perhaps it's in the same place on my car. Will have a poke around.

Passenger footwell next to the gearbox ECU if memory serves me correctly.

I found it under the plate in the footwell - three M6 plastic nuts and tip the plate back and then slide the unit (on the left in the pic) out.

Oh, didn't see you'd found it before I posted.
Anyhow well done another game of hide-and-seek the electrics successfully concluded.
I wonder where they'll hide it in the next model?

I am trying to locate the same Parktronic control unit in my W210/E320 Avantgarde. Is it also likely to be in the passenger side footwell? Previous info I received suggested under the rear seat squab but it is not there.
