Does anyone know what 'bonding' Mercedes uses on their brake disks

also side question, what is the purpose of the three circular indents in the brake disk face ?

ok if they are wear markers then when i cannot see them any more I should replace the disks ? I still see the 'dots' on my rear disks

Me -2019 GLC 350 coupe AMG line. Mrs- ford kuga 65 plate awd powershift .
Those holes dont look overly deep. Youre meant to see 2 lots of pads to a set of discs. Are they not just for balancing the spin of the discs at manufacture ??

The indents are in the same location on each disk so it can't be for balancing so I would say they are disk wear indicators. Drop a vernier into the hole and if its 1mm deep that would confirm it. Generally a vented disk has allowable wear of 2mm total from new. From the picture, the disk isn't rusty where it isn't painted .....

to clarify things, on my W213 it has these disc from the factory and they still look fresh (no rust), in a country (Sweden) that salts the roads heavily in the winter, so everything rusts,

I don't want my discs looking like rusty crap, the photo above is from NEW discs on ebay, i was just wondering what they coat them with (what type of paint) and of course, why those three circle dots are on the disc surface
