Just fitted these yesterday-- new Bosch distributor cap , new Bosch rotor arm . New Beru ht leads ,new Beru spark plugs .New Bosch fuel injectors and MB seals . And to-day oil change Castrol Magnatec along with new filter . One big hole in £500. I think i might have enough to purchase a scent tree to hand on my interior mirror lol.

Just taken the new Sandisk 128GB thingy out of the CLK and checked the picture/recording . It all looks good (as you said ) , so I'll keep the Blackvue one as a spare in the glovebox . I'll order another 128GB one next for the E class .

Perhaps the lines got mixed up and it was NTSC (never twice the same colour) and PAL that woz the issue.

Often in the 2 dimensional world of the internet the words wot appear on the screen were not wot the key pusher had in their brain when the keys were prodded. Often the use of an emoji / emoticon ie (take yer pick) gives a clue to the context of the key prodding wot did take place

Got a lead on a Dutch company that sell reconditioned strut sensors, though it says rear strut sensors. Waiting for a reply. I think this was the same place that JD mentioned in his thread?

Looks like you’re in luck if it’s a plunger travel sensor...

That is a bit confusing, the third paragraph says the sensors cant be replaced but the fifth paragraph says the sensors can be changed.

It says they can only be replaced on a 230 in the date range given. The 220 and 215 have internal sensors...

Many thanks Craig for this, the code 1126 rings a bell.
I have contacted ABC Specialist and waiting to see if the one listed is right for my car.
If it is then the next stage is to find out whether they can be replaced with the strut in place?
In the mean time the SL has locked its suspension and the steering tandem pump is on shut down too, meaning summer motoring now being done in saloon car with no air con.

Arrrrrgh great, ABC Specialist are on holiday until the 14th July
