could somebody tell me which lowering springs are for my car. I am so confused when reading through the internet forums. There is no straight answer. People are saying that some models are already lowered so the drop achieved by lowering springs will be different on all
Models. Please can someone explain. I have had eibachs installed which should be 30mm drop all round and i have 19” vossen vfs1 rims. The front is really low and the back is in the air! The front rubs even when the road is uneven a little, the back rubs when i go over rough roads, what is going on? What springs should i get, to be able to drive the car on normal roads?

I have the saloon with sport suspension.
Eibach part no. E10-25-019-02-22

I hear that h&r lowering springs are a better look, but which ones should i go for and what is the part number for them?

H&R are a far better product than Eibach, ECP are the importers now so call them with your chassis number / Reg plate and they will be able to help

reads like you've fitted an estate kit to me , I had the same issue back in the day with a Vectra I had , supplier sent est kit instead of hatch , looked like a dragster

Eibach part no. E10-25-019-02-22 ,
that is a saloon kit and won't lower a Sport by 30mm as the quote is from Standard suspension .

Next step is individual spring numbers to check they belong to kit E10-25-019-02-22 , can you see them ?

H&R in certain applications can be too firm .

There is another numbered kit available so more complicated , it will come down to Axle weights which are 1 (Front) & 2 (Rear) on your VIN sticker .

Find them and report back .

Right after much square eyes research the final findings are in .

Please ignore my previous comments of won't lower as much as because already lowered as Sport suspension but generally Eibach do tend to quote Standard or just leave out so default will be Standard and will only lower a Sport suspension car around 15mm .

Also ignore other kit available .

Right..

E10-25-019-02-22
is the correct kit for your 2011 W204 C220 CDI AMG Sport saloon .

And will lower by 30mm as they quote for AMG suspension and aren't for cars with electronic dampers .

Axle weights of
1150kg front & 1200kg rear .

Now the paired front and rear spring numbers are :

Front , F11-25-019-02-VA
Rear , F11-25-019-01-HA

Now as the rear is high and if a pair of rear Eibach Pro kit estate springs have found their way into the box they have an axle weight of 1230kg and would be
F11-25-019-03-HA .

Now to lower an AMG Sport by 30mm is quite alot as they're not high at all , compounded by 19" which will sit taller thus closer to the arch again ( plus sizing=plus rising is another discussion ) and depending on your offsets and tyre sizes it's not surprising there's rubbing issues . I'd recommend 18" max with the factory AMG Sport wheels and tyre sizes .

Here's Eibach Pro kit with 17" wheels ?

I have mate, just waiting for a reply. I doubt they will do much if the springs are the correct ones. I wonder if i put spring plates in the front, will that bring the rear down?

If you have a Sport then it will lower by 10mm, non sport by 30mm

This is true if left out or quote Standard suspension .

But this particular kit is quoting for vehicles with AMG suspension and
-30mm .
