Used a Clay Mitt on the car yesterday.

Seems to produce the same results as a Clay Bar, in a fraction of the time.

Very pleased.

An old B-Class.
I like them - I can't see myself rubbing something with my finger tips for hours on end....;)

Megs clay mits, available from most places but are comparatively expensive compared to clay, but as the others say make it a lot quicker

But the song “I want to take you to a clay mitt” just doesn’t have the same ring...

Bear in mind you should only clay your car approximately once a year so speed isn't too much of an issue IMO.

Wait until you have an R320 in front of you, speed and finger ache become issues then!!!

It's what happens to your ring with the clay mitt at the bar that's the problem :oops::rolleyes:

I washed and dried the car before I used the clay mitt, but was wondering as I used a bucket of soapy water with the clay mitt, was there any need to wash and dry the car first?

Wash & rinse not dry - you wouldn't want to be rubbing dirt....
