Colleague at work gave his car to one of the children who mostly does short trips in town. Recently got the high level warning light, after draining back to min, within a week its over filled again. Not coolant so I'm thinking injector or the DPF regen fun

looking here a DPF sensor replacement is recco . Its quite an old post so is there other tricks tips on likely cause?

it was at a garage... def NOT coolant def increasing

checking the other posts seems its related to injecting additional fuel in to regen the DPF....
so do you think it needs a DPF sensor, a software update or just a DPF regen?

not really seen this much apart from a 2.0d mazda 6 I know of that ended up with a new engine for this very reason

Sniff the oil if possible. If it smells of diesel that's your problem.


in my view spot on ! seal on hp pump if eng driven . would have thought unlikely injector if no white smoke ..
