Put the new Oil pressure sender into The Old 124 ( 235K 220TE ) quick job (10 mins ) with a 17mm crows foot wrench
Removed the Tow Bar from the Vito as the old coating was flaking off and it was looking very Tatty so its in for a wirebrushing and a coat of smooth black hammerite unless I can get it powder coated on the cheap . Its a good idea to keep the rust at bay on a Towbar especially near the welded joints although from the weight of this thing its capable of pulling a 747 Jumbo It weighs a ton

I made sure I parked in between decent cars and the perpetrator was a 19 plate Ford. You can only see it from an acute angle but I know that it's there. What I do with my SLK is park further back, as it's so short you can do this (reverse park of course) and then I find that offending doors line up with my mirrors and not the panels.

What did you go to see? "Dora and the lost city of gold"?

I don't have this issue when I park my old classic (with rust and scratches on every panel) next to other cars, it's usually got an empty space either side when I return to the car

Replaced the Nearside Headlight/Indicator Assy today as the Indicator had a chip and was letting water in, and no matter how much I tried to polish out the "yellowness" of the Headlight it still had a yellow tinge.

Anyway, not the easiest job in the world - got the old one out alright but putting the other one back took a lot of effort and time!

Also changed the Oil, (After a Flush) Oil Filter, Air Filter and Spark Plugs. Was going to do the Cabin Filter but still waiting for the delivery..... I had checked it and half the Amazon Forest fell out when I opened the Access Door!!! ***Cabin Filter arrived so now fitted***

All in all, because of the Headlight it was three and a half hours later by the time I finished.

Chuffed with the Headlight though - thank you Ebay!

Anyone tell me where I find out what spec this car is as it’s seems to have so many extras and even keyless go didn’t even know this was a thing in 2001 Inc was the private plate J13 ACR which funny enough is my best mates initials
