Sorry to be a bit vague but have done my back in so can't get under car to check this out.

Had the tracking done yesterday as car was pulling to left W211 E320CDI Estate

They made a pigs ear of it and it was no better so I popped a camera under the passenger side this morning to see if anything had actually been touched.

Resulted in this photo which shows something cracked although I'm not sure what it is . Can anyone help identify. Doesn't look structural but would be nice to know for sure Thanks

Can't tell from your picture , but if it runs from one side of the car to the other and is connected at either end to the shock absorbers by thin metal parts called drop links then it is the antiroll bar ?
If it is connected to the chassis at one end and the back of the hub at the other and is about a foot long it may be a control arm ?

As above, looks like it's a coating peeling off.

You get the same thing on the suspension springs.

Spot on blobcat .. old paint cracked like it goes over time . A wipe over with an oily rag could have prevented this .But no harm done really .Wire brush and re paint it if you are a perfectionist .
