SLK250 2015 braking issues

The partners got a 2015 SLK250 with 9k on the clock. The ESP light has comes on along with the traction control light at random intervals....car can brake fine under speed but when crawling it’s giving a scratching feeling that can be felt through the pedal?? Any idea....

reads like the brakes are fugged to me , have you had a wheel off to check the condition of them ?

Sounds like a wheel speed sensor has failed.

This a classic symptom of an ABS sensor giving a poor signal. The sensor may be failing, may have a build up of crud or have a bad connection.
