I've been searching for a while, and today I bought a 2014 E63 Biturbo which will replace the fantastic E55 I've had for over 6 years and can be found in the classifieds for sale.

The test drive went well and its apparent inside the car the exhaust is far louder than a modified E55 one.
Loved it:thumb:.
Performance wise, its hard to tell how it compares to the E55 driving around London as no way can you feel the full perfomance on busy roads.

The options are adequate for me with 360 camera, heated seats, park assist, but the one I really wanted was the light grey interior and this has it. The only faults that stand out are the missing E from the E63 boot badge and a couple of light scratches on the lower rear bumper that may polish out by the detailer.
Full MB dealer history all done on time, 1 previous owner, and its being MOT'd Monday, serviced at MB Tuesday, and I pick it up Wednesday.
I intend fitting an Autowatch Ghost, and having the paintwork detailed and ceramic coated.
A remap and turbo downpipes will follow later once I've enjoyed the car as it is.

A few photos taken from the dealers website. I'll take my own when I get the car and have had it detailed.

Must remember not to copy and paste photos;)

I almost forgot, when the dealer gave me the keys to go for a test drive, I got in and noticed the Keyless start button was missing. The dealer didn't even know there was supposed to be one if the car has the KG option.
For the first time, my limited knowledge of Mercedes came in useful. He rang the main dealer and he confirmed I was correct and ordered one to be fitted when its serviced Tuesday.
Luckily they are only £30 and don't need programming. (according to the dealer?)

I look forward the seeing it in the flesh / metal

Black exterior will keep you busy, even if ceramic coated, but it looks the puppies privates with the black wheels and lurverly grey leather
Well done that man!

Good luck with the sale of the 55 in the meantime

Lovely car congratulations, the 212 seats and interior finish are excellent so a very nice place to be. Your comparisons of the new and old will be interesting when you get used to the aforementioned.

Good luck with it and I hope it gives as good service as your last AMG

As an aside a thread entitled ‘living with an E63’ would make good reading for those who have an idea they would like to take the plunge one day as I found the ownership itinerary on your old car interesting reading

I'm guessing it was stolen or removed by the previous owner.
It will be replaced PDQ;)
