Dpf problems

Hello all

New to this but desparate for a solution!!

I have an E350 cdi cab

First off the inlet port manifold fault
Then after that had to change the egr valve and now it's stuck in limp mode with a full dpf that won't re gen

I'm thinking the last option is to change the dpf sensor so to finally be able to re gen!!

Would I need to code the sensor after fitting?
And is it an easy fix?

Need Star or iCarsoft etc diagnotics first , but yes modern Mercedes dpf pressure differential sensors are prone .

New DPF sensor and a software flash will sort it! A Regen using star will burn the soot content down! 99% will regen!!

Hello and welcome.
My car goes I to limp mode every few weeks showing the DPF pressure sensor. I plug her in a delete the code. The car regens as normal I know this because it's been going on for best part of a year. I would change the sensor but this was replaced last year. Sometimes it goes months without showing up. Have you tried deleting the code and going for a decent drive. Motoway with cruise control in 5th gear at 65 to 70mph for at least 30 minutes.
