SE200 EQ dynamic modes and engine cut off

Hi all.
Just had my C200 for about 3 wks. As 90% of my driving is around town I'm liking the features where the engine cuts out when coasting along or approaching lights etc
The only thing is that this only seems to happen in Economy dynamic mode and not Comfort mode. Is there anyway to default Economy mode on start up?

Welcome to the forum Leon.

How many gearbox modes do you have? ECO mode on mine is Comfort by default and no matter what setting was last used, Comfort is the setting the car starts with.
I have Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Manual.

The car should always revert, and start in the most economical mode available

Hi thanks for the reply...
It has Eco, comfort, sport, sport + and individual. Always starts on Comfort, which seems strange to me as some of the EQ system features don't happen in this mode.

Have you a setting you can change to Comfort to Eco?

Haven't seen that before I must admit.
Whatever setting I don't think you can override it. Just need to remember to select Eco after starting the car

Can’t default change unfortunately afaik

If it’s similar to my old E220, I setup the “I” mode for eco gearbox and engine and sport steering. Just one flick up on the selector as I started the car gave me “I” mode and away I went. Just became part of the starting routine
