If your box has a dipstick tube, you don't need a pump - just pour the stuff in.
If you have the 7g style box, you need the whole nine yards - the drain and refill kit.
Plenty on the Bay.

I've not used one, but lads on AN Other forum use a garden weed spray type pump to fill their gearboxes. I filled mine using a tube fed up through the engine bay ..... one end inserted into the fill/level hole & a funnel in the other :)

wighty how will this item work ? is it fitted to the end of oil filler tube and poped inside the dipstick tube
Not sure which of the two pumps in the thread (or the gearbox adapter ) that you are talking about ? The cheap first pump mentioned is just a transfer pump to pump oil from one place to another . The second more expensive pump is specifically for pumping oil into gearboxes which are fill from below gearboxes (comes with different adapters including an MB one for the 7g gearbox .
The third thing I mentioned is just a cheap screw in gearbox adapter for an MB 7g box to which you can attach the first cheap pump I mentioned , and by fitting an inline valve into this system allows you to stop oil running out of the gearbox whilst you get the box up to temp and cycle through the gears .

Wighty thanks for the explanation . I was thinking it was for filling from the dipstick tube .
Filling from the dipstick tube is the easiest option (but only if you have one :D) , a very small funnel for £1
