Does anyone have the Service notes that tell you how to replace the MAF?

Does anyone have the Serviec notes that tell you how to replace the MAF? My car is a 2005 E200 Estate. S211

It's normally pretty straightforward , the MAF is normally just after the air filter box and has an electrical plug going to it .

As per above, just an un-clip of the electrical connector and then disconnect the pipework

If yours is the M271 engine it should be something like this C class.

Not when you go to do it. There are I think 2 bolts, one not easy to get at and the pipe connections are not very accessible, so if some one has the service notes it may be easier.

I have now changed the MAF. It was not as difficult as I thought, I've cleared the faults and now hope for the best. One thing that is strange, is that the new MAF had a tiny Resistor? between the two pegs in the photo. The photo is of the old one that doesn't have this.

Sorry I cannot answer that as I only have petrol engines. If you look at the video above it will show you where it is on my engine. Maybe helpful. If it does have one it will be after the engine air filter box.

It will have a MAF , behind the air filter box , but leave it alone if it's not faulty
