Good morning everyone im new in this forum . I bought my Mercedes w203 2006 220cdi. Unfortunately in a morning was problem to start my car all the time is cuts engine off than suddenly when im driving he stalls .on dash appear engine check light. I went to my local mehanic who told me my ecu is gone so need to change it. So we change ecu but still i got same issues we put on diagnostic and he showed me these codes
1664-4
2511-1
2136-2
Did any one knows whats can be wrong with my car?

I think, but not sure, that the ECU has to be coded to the car via STAR system.
Someone will be along soon who knows more

Was your mechanic a proper merc indy or just someone with a bog standard code reader who doesnt know how to read the codes. clearly he has mis dagnosed something and you throwing money away.

get to a proper merc indy who will identify the syptoms and the cause.

It could be simple as vacuum leak based on what you decribe!

Never heard of injectors cutting the engine dead.
It sounds to me like you need to get the car on Star with someone who knows what they're doing.
Those three codes you listed don't look overly relevant to the symptom.
The first is an auxiliary heater fault. The second can be caused by low battery (speaking of which how is the battery - MBs are very sensitive to bad battery voltage). The third could be a glow plug.
Are you getting black smoke on acceleration?
Try removing all your keys off your keyring too. It's not unknown for a heavy bunch of keys to cause issues.

Where are you located so maybe someone can suggest a decent Mercedes tech.

Your mechanic saying you need a new ECU, then new injectors, wouldn't inspire much confidence with me.
The black smoke could even be a split turbo pipe.

Bad injector will throw up a whole range of none associated fault codes as mine did for around 6 months until it completely failed, filled the road with black smoke and left me stranded at side of road. Low battery might come from turning the engine over too much to get it going. Not familiar with auxiliary heater fault, but did have glow plug fault codes with low battery at time I was trying to fix the van. Black smoke sounds all too familiar to me LOL. AS Lost Kiwi says get somebody that knows what they are doing to look at it.

First things first if you get black smoke check all the inlet tract for air leaks. Particularly check all the rubber hoses and intercooler. The rubber hoses on MB diesels have a habit of splitting right where you can't see.
