ASR light and car ill not running right.

1990 500 SL , battery flat after not uSed for monthS. All good before , after charge ASR came on once i put my foot on the gaS. It like it in limp home mode. Never done thiS in the 10 year i have had the car.

No and the battery full of charge.

Done that , nothing.

Done that and nothing came up on the code reader.

Must have a fault code. If it didn't the light wouldn't be on.

OK, once i put the battery back in i did all the codes before i started the car.Need to go back and do the code again. Update hen i do that. Thanks

Code reader = code 15 , 2 +3+4+6
Its a code reader that flashs , bought it off malcom before he pasted. Great Bloke , missed on here.

Could not find the codes its not the same as the codes i used to have.

Code 14 =2
Fuel pump relay (circuit 87) not functioning
Code 14 =3
TN/TD signal (RPM) interrupted
Code 14 -4
Output for oxygen sensor heater control defective
Code14 = 6
Output for kickdown switch control defective
These are the 4 codes coming up. Now 2 cannot be a problem because the car starts its only when you put your foot down thats when the ASR light comes on.
Code 14 = 6 , this is the one i want to know about?
Output for kickdown switch control defective, ANYONE know what ans were this is.

Code 14 =3
TN/TD signal (RPM) interrupted
Code 14 -4

Code 14 is , continuous fuel injection system (mas controller).
