I can honestly say my 2017 SE E class premium has the worst headlight I've ever had in a car, the power of the forward light is so poor, and also in no auto full beam in a car of this class. :(

not heard anyone else complain about headlights on a car that new , auto full beam is a PITA if you ask me pal , randomly blinding folk in dimly lit suburbs / streets is embarrassing to say the least so don't feel to hard done by and besides , if your car hand xenons ( meaning you may have got auto f.beam as standard ) then you wouldn't be complaining in the first place :p

Surely it must have LED headlights at that age which are extremely good. If they are that poor, and given you are under warranty until January, I'd get it checked by a dealer.

Honestly mate my boy was in the car for the first time last night and even he said his Polo has better lighting. Maybe I'm just comparing them to much against the car I just got shot of as the lights where Bi xenon LIGHTS.

I had the same car and the standard LED headlights were absolutely excellent. I used to do 3 hour commutes at 04:15 on every different type of road and found the standard dipped beam very illuminating.

I wonder if there is something wrong with yours. I hope not as o think they’re very expensive...

The car is still under warranty until January and it's going into the workshop for a few things so I'll get them checked out then mate. Not the best photo but this is full beam. I thought I'd be a lot brighter.

I've not looked yet mate, are they easy to remove. The headlight are stamped LED High Performance but maybe the bulbs have been changed.

Pretty sure the W213 only ever had LED headlamps, with High Performance or Multi-beam depending on options.

That’s what I had in mine “LED High Performance”

As under warranty get them to check them for output and alignment. I had mine for 18 months and 48K miles. Best standard lights I’ve driven behind.

... and that bonnet/bumper shut line looks adrift - although it might be the angle of your photo.

LEDs don't have bulbs - it's an entire headlight if they fail.
